Spend Half Term with The Hedgehog Club

Sunday 21st October…Apple Day at Cogges Farm 10am -2pm

I will be cooking apple pancakes on the fire down in the woods. The mud kitchen will be set up for you to use and you can build dens in the woods too.

Come and join in the fun. For other activities taking place on Apple Day see the Cogges website www.cogges.org.uk/

 

Tuesday 23rd October…Woodland Club at Cogges Farm 10am -2pm

This session of Woodland Club is open to all ages and is a drop-in session.

The mud kitchen will be set up, den building will be available.

We will be looking at all thing’s autumn- making autumn crowns, conker snails and acorn and conker necklaces. We will also be toasting marshmallows on the fire.

Check out the Cogges website for the daily activities during half term.

 

Wednesday 24th October… Family Forest School at Blenheim Palace 10.30am -3pm (We also run every Wednesday during term time.)

If you have an annual pass or are visiting for the day you can join in with sessions down by the lake for free. They are open to all ages and run from 10.30am -3pm. So come down to the lakeside site, say hello, catch some butterflies, build a den or play in the mud kitchen.

 

Sunday 28th October…Cogges Farm Pumpkin Day. (Check the website for timings.)

We will be making pumpkin muffins on the fire. The mud kitchen will be all set up and ready to go. You can also have a go at building a den.

Check the Cogges website for all activities taking place on that day.

 

Our regular term time activities will continue after half term.

These are:

Tuesdays… Woodland Club at Cogges Museum 10.30am – 12.30pm:

The Cogges Woodland Club is a Forest School where pre-school children learn by playing and exploring their natural environment.

There will be six sessions over one term, starting at 10.30 finishing at 12.30. Each participating child is £7, and £6 for siblings. Adults are £2 for entrance to the Cogges site, or grown-ups come free if they are a season ticket holder. We will take bookings for the whole term. Once the Woodland Club session is finished, you will be welcome to stay as long as you like at Cogges.

Fridays…

Friday Fun at Deer Park Wood 10am -12pm

These sessions start again on Friday November 2nd and will run for 8 weeks. They are open to preschool age children and their carers. The sessions run along Forest School principles so are led by what your child wants to do. Each week the mud kitchen, the hammocks, bug hunting and cooking on the fire are always available. There is a theme each week with a story and the session ends with cooking on the camp fire, drinking hot chocolate and eating home made biscuits. It is £7 per child, with a sibling discount per session. If you book all 8 sessions in a block you receive a discount too. So why not….
