Tuesday 19th February

Join me and Wild Ways for a day in Colliers Copse, a lovely private wood near Appleton. There are 2 groups on this day

  • 5-8 year olds. This group will be making hides, log piles and bug hotels and finding out what lives in the wood.

  • 9 + will be learning how to survive in the woods in winter. Learning advanced fire lighting and building debris shelters.

It costs £35 for 1 child and £32 for siblings.

Contact Martyn: martyn@inourelement.org.uk to find out more and book your place.

Wednesday 20th February

Blenheim Family Forest School from 10.30am -3pm. This is a drop in session so no need to book. Once you have paid to get in just come down to our site by the lake and join in den building, slope sliding, rope swings, bug hunting and much more. Come when you want and stay as long as you like.

Thursday 21st February

Come and spend a day outdoors playing, building and exploring. We will be lighting fires, cooking soup on the fire. Hot drinks available all day.

Regular term time Hedgehog Club activities:

Deer Park Wood, Witney.

You can find us here every Friday during term time.

The theme changes each week but mud kitchen, story time, snacks on the fire and hot drinks are always available.

We will have lashings of hot chocolate available and the fire will burn brightly to cook our snacks. Places need to be booked in advance, discounts available for block booking.

Blenheim Palace Family Forest School.

These sessions happen every Wednesday, in the holidays too, from 10.30am -1pm. From March the sessions will continue until 3pm.  They are free if you have paid to get into the Palace or have an annual pass. There is no need to book, you can just drop in and stay as long as you like.

The mud kitchen, bug hunting, den building, rope swing and slope sliding are always available. Each week there are other activities to take part in and during term time we will toast marshmallows on the fire. So come and join in the fun.

The Hedgehog Club Birthday Parties.

I also run Woodland Birthday parties at Hailey Community Wood. The package includes making your own party bag, cooking a snack on the fire, den building and natural craft activities. Do get in touch if your child has a birthday coming up and I can send you more information.

Coming up later in 2019…

Woodland Club at Cogges.

The club will return in the spring once Cogges reopens. It is open to all preschool aged children and their carers.
