The Term Time Woodland Club at Cogges Farm is changing..

What is it?

The Woodland Club is now The Hedgehog Club at Cogges. It is a Forest School where pre-school children learn by playing and exploring their natural environment. As part of the sessions the children will become more independent and develop their social and physical skills. They can follow their own interests and learn to take risks in a natural environment.

What will we do?

During the sessions the children will be able to:

  • Climb trees

  • Play in the mud kitchen

  • Build dens

  • Listen to and join in with stories

  • Take part in natural craft activities

  • Search for bugs, and other minibeasts

  • Play with sticks

  • Cook simple snacks on the fire

  • And go wherever their imagination takes them……

The Sessions

The sessions start at 10am and finish at 12pm.

The children will need to wear appropriate warm/cool, outdoor clothing with long sleeves in all seasons and suitable footwear as we will go out whatever the weather. There will be access to the toilets during the sessions.

There will be hot chocolate, squash and home-made biscuits available at each session. As well as hot drinks for the adults.

Booking and prices

Each session costs £7, siblings £6.

You can book for all 5 sessions and receive a discount or pay as you go.
