Well the day has finally come..The Hedgehog Club at Cogges will be returning on Tuesday 8th September. A few months ago, I wasn’t sure this would ever happen so I am super excited about it and seeing you all again.
The club will restart but with some changes, as I am sure you were expecting.
The numbers will be limited to 10 children and 1 adult per child
You will need to book for the whole term so we can keep a ‘bubble’. I am no longer able to take week by week bookings.
Drinks and biscuits will be available, but they will be served by 1 person, so not a help yourself as we have done previously. If Tom is not able to help out each week, I will be asking for a parent volunteer each week to do this for everyone. Thanks.
You will need to bring your own cups for yourself and the children
There will be individual kit bags so that children are not sharing resources
The mud kitchen will be there, and I ask you to help your children social distance from each other while playing here
I have had to increase the price slightly to cover some of the extra costs of cleaning materials and extra resources that I have needed to buy.
I have missed you all these last few months and your comments and messages on the social media posts have really kept me going, thank you.
Blenheim- this is on hold for the time being as they get to grips with the changing situation for them. I hope to get back there at some stage but no idea when at present.
Deer Park-I will not be running this club for the time being. I want to see how Cogges works out with the new measures in place. If I think it can be done safely for me and you I will start it again. So watch this space.
Holiday Activities- I have been blown away by the response to these this summer. They booked up so fast and the children had such a great time. I am working on dates for the October half term and will release bookings as soon as dates are finalised. I am hoping to do a drop off day for 5-11 year olds and a day just for little ones with their carers.
Birthday parties- these are still available but with some restrictions on the numbers. Please see the website for more details.
The risk assessment for Covid procedures is on the website, so do have a read and let me know if you have any concerns.
Booking for the Cogges sessions will go live next week. Look out for the post on FB and Instagram for the date and time of release. I am sure they will sell out if the summer has been anything to go by so book early to avoid disappointment.
Looking forward to getting back into the woods with you all.
