Campfire Cooking - popcorn

Today I am cooking some popcorn in my home made popcorn maker. But you can use a saucepan with a lid, of course!

To make the popcorn maker you will need a broom handle, 2 wire sieves and some wire.

Once you have something to cook the popcorn in you can get on with the best part.

I like the sieves as the children can see once it starts to pop. The fire needs to be hot but with few, if any, flames, so that the corn doesn't just burn before popping. Keep the sieve moving slightly as well.

Once cooked top with your favourite topping and much, munch, munch.
